In life we give value to what we deem important and in that very sense we so often place ‘crowns’ on different things in our lives that we are hopeful for – be it honors, titles, possessions or prizes. The message of Easter shows us that there is one place where we can lay our crowns, in exchange for something that is far greater. As we ponder upon the hopes on which we lay our crowns, the question for us is this:
Where have we laid our crowns?

This Easter, come join us to find out the wonder and mystery of The Crown.

“In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus:

Who, being in very nature God,
    did not consider equality with

God something to be used to his own advantage;
  rather, he made himself nothing
  by taking the very nature of a servant,
  being made in human likeness.

And being found in appearance as a man,
    he humbled himself
    by becoming obedient to death—
    even death on a cross!”

Philippians 2:5-8
