Matthew 28:19-20, Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
One of the core values of our church is the value of Disciple Making. We believe that the core command of the Great Commission is not just to help people believe, but to make disciples of Christ. We aim to raise disciples who are passionate for God, people and the Great Commission.
One of the keys way we do this as a church is by having someone come alongside our Christian journey and walk us through the fundamentals of our Christian beliefs and life as a whole. Mentoring is a relationship that is built upon trust, in which one person (the mentor) enables another person (the mentee) develop their potential and gifting in God, and helping them to be the salt and light of Christ to their communities.
It is our sincere hope that through mentoring relationships that disciples of Christ will continually grow in Christ-like attitudes, values and Kingdom-focused lifestyles.
If you are looking for a mentor, the first step that you could take is to speak to your Life Group leader and asking them to recommend a mentor.
