I am really excited that we will have 7 prophets ministering to our church over the coming weekend (Thurs to Sunday). Did you know that the prophetic ministry had a significant impact upon us by confirming God’s guidance just before we pioneered this church? In Dec 1992, we were prophesied over by John Tiplady and the late John Jacks in Melbourne. They spoke about the chunk of harvest that God would bring as we venture forth, even though they did not know us at all.

Over the 24 years of our church life, we have had these prophetic ministries many times and we have been blessed tremendously from receiving prophetic words. Our prayer is that those who will specifically be ministered to by the prophets will be greatly encouraged by the Holy Spirit during this season. When prophetic words are released upon the church, it is like God pulling aside the veil to provide us a glimpse of His intentions for His people. If we will rise up in faith and grab hold of God’s prophetic words, it will take us forward into greater things.

I would like to point out that all prophecies must be tested. It must be tested against God’s Word. It should be tested and confirmed by other prophets as well (1 Thess 5:19-21).

Every one of us can benefit from this ministry even though we may not directly be prophesied over. The key is to listen to what the Holy Spirit may be speaking to us even though a prophecy may be directed to another person. We can be greatly encouraged by what God is saying to another believer.

Hence, we welcome you to join us over this Presbytery weekend from 26th to 29th Oct at Unidus. We also encourage you to prepare your heart through prayer and fasting.

You may find it helpful to understand more about a prophetic presbytery by listening to my sermon on http://cdsmdb.hti.me/MS011109.mp3.

Be blessed!
