Sometimes I’m really amazed of how God is able to use me and stretch me to my full potential which I don’t see and believe that I can achieve it. As a Finance Manager, the month of July is always a super busy month. I thought as years go by it should get easier, as practice makes perfect. But last month was one of the busiest months for me. I was so stress in June that I had sleepless nights just thinking about what was going to happen in the month of July. I was having anxiety attack before the work even started!

The major tasks that were happening in July were to manage finance for Northern Territory State besides QLD State’s finance, to handle a new company merging into our company starting 1/7/15, to have a new boss based in Melbourne Office, to do year-end closing, to submit more than 10 acquittal reports, to fly to other cities to provide training, and to perform other monthly tasks. Just thinking of it already gives me a headache. I asked God, could I really manage so many things on my plate on top of leading a Unit in Willawong Centre and coordinating the Children Ministry (KFC) in the church? I told God that I didn’t think I could be effective and efficient in every aspect of my life.

But God came through me as I continued to look to Him every day as my source of strength and wisdom. I know if I want to do this well, I need His Power, Grace, Joy, Favour in everything that I do. I thank God that He has poured all these into my life as I choose to work hard and do my best for Him in my work place and in the church. I know He has gifted me in the area of administration, management and strategy planning. I just have to nurture it, cultivate it and use it to fulfil His Plan for my life.

So, with the knowledge and understanding of how God has created me and His Purpose in my life, I sail through month of July with a good night sleep every night. I was able to accomplish most of my tasks that were needed to be done in July. Most importantly I find favors not only with my new boss but also with colleagues in QLD, NT and Melbourne Office. But I felt the greatest achievement come from the Children Ministry when I see our 3 Group Coordinators (Tiny Tots, KFC Junior and KFC Senior) conduct their first mid-year evaluation and planning sessions with their teachers in the month of July and early August.

There were so many things that I had to do in the last 2 months that I didn’t think I had the strength and energy to go through them. But with God working through every single part of my life, everything was possible. That is how every one of us can reach our potential in God.

1 Corinthians 12: 4-6, “God gives us many kinds of special abilities, but it is the same Spirit who is the source of them all. There are different kinds of service to God, but it is the same Lord we are serving. There are many ways in which God works in our lives, but it is the same God who works in and through all of us.” Amen.
