Build Unidus

This team of volunteers are responsible for our fundraising effort as we build Unidus Community Centre. They inspire hearts to capture God’s vision and the value of the mission beyond the building.

CDS

CDS seeks to develop Bible-based and Christ-centered disciples through biblical and relevant teaching in the wide variety of courses offered. Volunteers in this ministry provide the practical support for the administrative and logistical tasks necessary to run a small scale bible school.

This is an opportunity to serve God through planning and organizing of events in which God can minister to many lives in the church and the community.

Program Managing

Our vision is to see vibrant, faith-filled, relevant and life-changing church services every weekend in Hope Church Brisbane. This team provides oversight and coordination for the planning and operational aspects of our church services.

Floor managers oversee different aspects of service operations before and after service, in order to facilitate effective coordination with the service operations teams

Intercessory

Prayers are indispensable in God’s church. When we pray, it moves the heart of God. Come and encounter the Lord by interceding before Him. This ministry seeks to support the church in prayers and help members develop both their heart and skills for as an intercessor.

Logistics

Our services would not happen without this team diligently supporting us behind the scenes. A great ministry to grow in servant leadership and organisation skills as it provides systematic and practical support to the church.

Security

The security team aims to provide rapid and effective detection, assessment, communication and response to all conditions affecting the safety and security at our services.

Welcome Team

Our vision is to facilitate a warm and vibrant church service atmosphere by showing hospitality to every guest who comes to our services. We connect people to people, people to places and people to God!

Public Relations

Public relations is about creating a positive perception of our church in the community. We welcome new visitors and make them feel at home. (Willawong only)

Book Cafe

Café volunteers can bring forth God’s presence and warm greetings, making everyone feel welcome. While the book volunteers are able to recommend good Christian resources to those looking for books to grow deeper in their walk with God and help equip His people to mature in Christ. (Not available in Ablaze, Gold Coast, Gatton)

Kids For Christ

Our vision is to build strong biblical children who will grow up to be of godly character, responsible adults in God’s Kingdom and the community. KFC teachers and assistants help minister God’s love and words of life into our children’s lives.

Worship

Worship is the highest form of artistic expression which we can offer to our Creator! Worship is what we were created for, and also the final end of all existence; we will worship for eternity. The worship ministry is here to serve the church by providing worship leadership, music & songs that draw people closer to God

AV Production

The ministry exists to support the church in fulfilling the great commission by using relevant tools of technology and creativity, through which the truth of God’s Word and the life changing message of the Gospel can be presented in a clear, engaging, and God glorifying way.

Creative Presentation

The media has evolved as a tool that has the potential to powerfully shape minds. To impact this generation for Christ, the Church must utilise media. Our vision is to use all forms of digital media, photography, animation and film to do our part in fulfilling the Great Commission.

Performing Arts

God has placed artistic potential within those whom He has gifted as artists in His house. He fills them with His Spirit, skills, abilities and knowledge to excel in artistic means to bring glory to His name, and to communicate His heart in ways that words cannot express.

Hands of Hope

Hands of Hope is the community arm of Hope Church Brisbane. In addition to our annual signature Christmas 4 Kids event, Hands of Hope is currently at a grassroots planning stage for various ongoing programs that will run throughout the year.

Hope Bookshelf

Hope Bookshelf is a one-stop bookshop that exists to provide the church with as array of quality Christian books at good prices. (St Lucia only)

Campus Christian Movement

CCM was established in 1993 and has been the campus arm in 3 major Brisbane universities (UQ, QUT & Griffith campuses). We aim to be a positive influce on campuses by providing students with avenues to build friendships. (St Lucia Afternoon only)

WILSON LIM

Pastor Wilson Lim is the founding and senior pastor for Hope Church in Brisbane and also serves as an Elder with Hope International Ministries. He was a former research scientist with CSIRO. Pastor Wilson also serves on the Board of a community services organization, Australian Care and Trauma Services (ACTS) and previously on an interdenominational Bible college. He is recognised for his balanced, in-depth teaching and engaging-style of expository preaching. His passion is teaching, equipping leaders and building the church.  He travels extensively to minister to HIM churches in different parts of the world.

SIMON ENG

Pastor Simon Eng graduated as a Civil Engineer from Melbourne, Australia. In 1992, together with a team, they pioneered Hope Kuching and the church has successfully produced many leaders and pioneers to this day. In 2001, Pastor Simon and family moved back to Kuala Lumpur to be the Senior Pastor of Hope Kuala Lumpur. Pastor Simon is currently also the President of Hope International Ministries. He travels extensively to minister to various regional churches of Hope. He loves to build God’s people and is actively serving to fulfill God’s Great Commission.

RAVI SUNDAR

Rev. D. Ravi Sundar is a leader with zeal, committed to God-given vision and founded Shalom Church in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India in the year 2001. Pastor Ravi is a well-known and well-respected preacher who has traveled to over 16 nations declaring the good news of our Lord Jesus Christ in Churches, sharing principles of leadership at Seminars, encouraging pastors conducting prayer drives and planted 76 churches across the countries Sri Lanka, Fiji and Philippines.

A shepherd at heart, he identifies and understands the challenges of pastoral ministry and makes every effort to uplift pastors and their families. He strongly believes that Church must make an impact on society. The ministry of Pastor Ravi reaches to thousands of people across India and his messages are a blessing to the sick, the brokenhearted and to those who are helpless.

This session is to provide the avenue for people who are passionate about living out love on a particular frontline, to come together and exchange practical ideas of doing it personally or together.

Day 1 / Breakout Topics

/ Parenting Children with Challenging Behaviour: To encourage & inspire parents to live and love from God’s perspective through every season of parenting.

/ Swimming Against The Tide: To inspire youth to live out who God calls them to be, in the midst of pressures and expectations of who the world that tells them they should be.

/ Sharing Hope in Crisis: To shed light of God’s heart for people in dealing with crisis in life (could be day-to-day life events). To learn how we can be the hands and feet to bring hope into the situation.

Pre-School Program

We understand that it can be challenging for parents with tiny tots to attend a full-day conference. Therefore, in this conference, we will be providing preschool daytime program for children from 2 years old to pre-prep. So that the parents can enjoy the conference while the little ones are taken care by our wonderful volunteers.
